Michael Jackson is dead, but will no doubt live forever, was he Christian or convert of Islam?

Michael Jackson is dead, but will no doubt live forever. Was Jackson a Christian, did he believe is God?
Sources close to Michael Jackson have confirmed his death. "Sources tell me that Jackson, 50, was alone for some time in his home before paramedics arrived. The singer was taken to UCLA Medical Center where, according to a source at the hospital, Jackson was at some point in the early afternoon Thursday taken off life support." November 20th 2008, The NewYork Post reported, 'MICHAEL JACKSON has become a Muslim - and changed his name to Mikaeel. Jacko sat on the floor wearing a tiny hat after an Imam was summoned to officiate - days before the singer is due to appear at London's High Court where he is being sued by an Arab sheik. A source told last night how Jacko, brought up as a Jehovah's Witness, decided to convert as he used a studio at the home of his chum to record a new album. The star - whose hits include The Way You Make Me Feel - was spotted looking "a bit down" by a producer and a songwriter who had both embraced Islam.'
Michael Jackson, the sensationally gifted "King of Pop" who emerged from childhood superstardom to become the entertainment world's most influential singer and dancer before his life and career deteriorated in a freakish series of scandals, died Thursday, a person with knowledge of the situation told The Associated Press. He was 50.

The Los Angeles Fire Department had confirmed to KCBS-TV in Los Angeles that Jackson, 50, was not breathing when paramedics arrived his home. He was then rushed to the UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, where he was reportedly comatose. According to CBS News, paramedics worked to resuscitate Jackson for 42 minutes.Calls to police were first made from the King of Pop's home shortly at 12:26 Pacific time. The emergency entrance at the UCLA Medical Center, which is near Jackson's rented home, was roped off Thursday with police tape. News trucks were gathered, helicopters flew overhead, and orange cones were laid out to redirect traffic. "We have no statements as far as transporting Michael Jackson,'' Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Devin Gales said. Jackson had planned to hit the stage at the O2 Arena in London for 50 concerts this summer. Tickets for the series, which was supposed to kick off on July 8, sold out in a matter of hours on March 13.

CNN broke through the airwaves with the Rev. Al Sharpton, at 6:30pm. He called for the fans of the world to "remember and keep talking about Michael Jackson, as he did not forget us." He asked for people to forget his shortcomings, and all the mishaps that followed his last few years.

As for Michael Jackson and his faith, it is true that his family had strong religious beliefs and raised Michael as a good Jehovah's Witness. Many believe that Jackson's conversion to Islam was due to the lawsuit against him. Possibly converting so that the lawsuit would be dropped. Who really knows.

He has had some kind of Biblical foundations growing up, but it is hard to know if a person is a Christian or not based on what they wear, the signs the give, who they thank at the awards or the fact that they point to God when they get a not-guilty decision in court.

Although the question has been asked many times, no one truly knows the heart of a person, or the decisions that they make when they know they are dying.

Michael will be remembered for years to come, and regardless of where he is now, he will live forever in the hearts of his incredibly devout fans.
ed - Hopefully he die in Islam..
